Places for People
Places for People
B2B Branding

Places for People is one of the largest housing providers in the UK. The breadth of the business means that they communicate both with house buyers and tenants but also with other businesses. Issues arose when they started to market similar products to both customer groups but failed to communicate as effectively to a business audience when using a customer focussed tone.

Atkinson Roberts Creative were tasked with providing a brand look and feel that was aimed specifically to a business audience. The solution was to create an infographic lead route that provided not only a visual engagement but also provided quick facts, figures and data which is imperative to selling a product to this audience. This solution was versatile enough to be used across the entire business covering many varied business products.

Each part of the business now engages with a business audience in a consistent and appropriate manner, helping them to explore new opportunities.

CLCRC Legacy Book

Legacy Book

CLCRC, formerly known as Lancashire Probation Trust and Cumbria Probation Trust, provides a service that rehabilitates criminal offenders when they are released back into society on probation.

Lancashire Probation Trust was to be restructured and merged with Cumbria Probation Trust. They wanted to produce a brochure to mark this important transition to look back over the Trust's achievements and highlights over its many years. The brochure was to be a keepsake for all staff and something which they could look through fondly.

After the brochure launch and subsequent positive feedback, we were then asked to produce a similar brochure for Cumbria Probation Trust.

Restorative Justice
Cumbria and Lancashire Community Rehabilitation Company
Restorative Justice

Restorative Justice is an initiative that brings together the victim and offender of a crime to discuss the event. This process has provided an opportunity for both parties to clear the air, come to terms with what has happened and ultimately move on with their lives for the better.

This campaign focussed on the mental state of mind from before Restorative justice and then after. Beforehand people are often anxious, scared, angry or feeling very vulnerable. Afterwards people become more a ease with the situation, which in turn allows them to find closure and move on.

This campaign was aimed at the general public in order to raise awareness of Restorative Justice and prompt people to come forward if they are struggling to move on. The campaign was also aimed at offenders serving their sentence, helping them to understand the consequences their actions had and ultimately help them get on the right track.

Granger's
Granger's
Packaging, Brochures and Press Ads

Granger’s was on the verge of being de-listed from a large proportion of outdoor shops. Re-branding reversed their fortunes taking them back to being No.1 in their category.

Granger’s had a perceived perception of being bad for the environment and not as technically proficient as their nearest rivals, Nikwax. Therefore the logo and packaging re-design needed to address these false perceptions.

The results were a 60% growth in sales within 6 months.

Domestic Abuse Campaign
South Yorkshire Community Rehabilitation Company
Inspire to Change

This preventative South Yorkshire CRC campaign aims to make people aware of the signs of domestic abuse and in turn encourage a self referral to a counselling service, the ultimate aim being to stop these actions progressing into more serious activities and a criminal conviction.

Many people aren't aware what can be interpreted as a sign of domestic abuse, so it was important to convey the range of actions (from subtle to violent), helping them to question whether their own actions could be abusive to their partner.

Climbing Centre Group
Climbing Centre Group
Branding

The Climbing Centre Group needed to create a consistent visual identity across its many centres. Each centre had been creating marketing materials internally for several years producing a distinct lack of consistency and no overall brand look-and-feel.

Atkinson Roberts Creative devised a versatile visual identity that could be adapted for each centre using centre specific brand colours. This provided a dynamic and engaging tone that made them stand apart from their competitors.

After creating the look-and-feel, Atkinson Roberts Creative rolled-out the visual identity across signage, internal comms, posters, leaflets, point-of-sale and print advertising.

Sealskinz
SealSkinz
Brand Implementation

After investing in a brand repositioning, Sealskinz brought Atkinson Roberts Creative onboard to help roll-out and develop the brand across various marketing formats.

Atkinson Roberts developed a new design for all their packaging across 80+ multi-language SKUs, as well as product catalogues, point of sale, press advertising, exhibition graphics and leaflets. But more importantly working alongside their marketing team to help progress their brand as they move forwards into new global territories and develop new products and technologies.

Since working with Sealskinz, they have had a year on year growth in a mature market, on the back of a fairly slow winter trade, in particular in the Outdoor & Bike markets. Forward orders are also significantly up year on year on the back of increased brand awareness from both retailers and consumers, who are actively asking for Sealskinz by name. Key In-store merchandising support for retailers has been completely re-designed and re-developed leading to one key national account showing a triple digit increase off the back of the POS.
